McDonald seeks appeal to overturn Front Royal EDA case
Attorneys for Jennifer McDonald ask an appellate judge to vacate the 14 year sentence and remand to the lower court. Judge Elizabeth Dillon sentenced McDonald in 2024 for aggravated identity theft wire and bank fraud and money laundering tied to 2014 to 2018 EDA real estate schemes. Restitution neared 2.74 million with 5.2 million forfeiture. McDonald is jailed in Texas with a 2036 release date.
