Supervisors reject Rivermont Fortsmouth Fire Station merger
Warren County Board of Supervisors voted Tuesday to reject consolidating the Rivermont and Fort Portsmouth Volunteer Fire Departments. A Springsted study cited severe Rivermont structural and staffing issues and Fort Portsmouth’s insufficient personnel. A proposed county airport-road facility at about 3 million dollars would serve over 38 square miles and 2,300 residents, but faced debt concerns.

Back to square one for school naming process

Tourism rises as Shenandoah NP welcomes more visitors

Parker to challenge Murray for Warren County North River seat
Former Front Royal vice mayor N Shae Parker announces Democratic run against incumbent Republican Daniel Murray for the Warren County Board of Supervisors North River District.
