State seeks input on Virginia road project plan
The Commonwealth Transportation Board finalized a draft Six Year Improvement Program and will hold public meetings in Virginia nine transportation districts including Staunton District at Blue Ridge Community College Weyers Cave. Comments may be sent by mail or online with final CTB approval likely in June. Warren and Shenandoah counties list numerous projects totaling hundreds of millions, featuring Rockland Road bridge replacement in Warren and multi mile widenings on I 81 and I 66 corridors, along with sidewalk and trail improvements and county road reconstructions through fiscal 2028.
