Warren County Board ends $200 annual fee for Blue Ridge Shadows

March 24, 2023 Warren County supervisors voted 5-0 to amend the Blue Ridge Shadows subdivision proffers and eliminate the $200 per lot annual fee. The fee funded the North Warren Fire Station and the HOA sought to support the volunteer fire department directly. County Attorney Jason Ham called the proffer arrangement unusual as developers may add such terms to projects. The county will lose about $44,800 in revenue. Butler commented.
