Magdalen Capital denied planned neighborhood zoned fit
A Front Royal area developer won a partial victory as Magdalen Capital LLLP was denied the change to re zone Leach Street to a planned neighborhood development district. The council also refused to amend the zoning ordinance to reduce minimum parcel size from 20 acres to 2 acres, keeping parcels unsuitable for the project. The 5 to 1 vote blocked the initial zoning shift despite allowing some progression toward a smaller scope.

Sheriff’s Office probes Internet crimes in Linden area
Warren County Sheriff’s Office opened an investigation on January 23 2024 into possession of child sexual abuse material in Linden Virginia after an online cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Steven M Kay a 42 year old Linden resident was identified and arrested February 22 2024. He was held without bond and aMarch 14 2024 court date was set in Warren County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. The agency remains part of the Northern Virginia DC Metro ICAC Task Force and asks anyone with information to contact the Sheriff’s Office.
