Warren County Circuit Court grand jury indicted Caleb Sutphin 18 of Deerhaven Road for placing a hoax bomb at Warren County High School on January 27. The device was nonfunctional. evacuees and searches followed before authorities cleared the scene. Sutphin bonds set February 14 and faces plea in court Monday.

Students auction off 12000 square foot modular home

Blue Ridge Technical Center carpentry students completed a 12000 square foot modular house over two years. Sixteen students built the home adjacent to the school, handling framing roofing drywall insulation and plumbing while the electricity class installed outlets.
