Traffic stop leads to Warren County marijuana bust arrests
A Front Royal stop on Chester Street led deputies to seize 184 ounces of marijuana and arrest Shannon Doyle-Melvin 25, Brian Albarenga-Alfero 22, and a 15 year old as they charged intent to distribute and delinquency. Additional warrants, home search yielded more drugs.

Roulston and Morris to lead Shenandoah County Board in 2023
Karl Roulston and Dennis Morris will again chair and vice chair Shenandoah County Board of Supervisors after Tuesday’s organizational meeting. Morris abstained from the vote. Their terms run through December 31, 2025. The board kept a 4 pm second Tuesday and 7 pm fourth Tuesday meeting schedule for 2023 with all public hearings at 7 pm. December meetings adjusted to preserve year end hearing opportunity. County Administrator Evan Vass explained the timing. The first regular meeting is 4 pm Tuesday.
