Cool Harbor Motel eyes remodel and SBA loan hurdle
Cool Harbor owner seeks a Motel 6 franchise upgrade but encroachment on 675 square feet of town right of way blocks financing. The town may sell or vacate the section, or pursue a long term lease. SBA requires 20 year tenure with no termination option. The council weighs selling, vacating, or long term lease to satisfy lenders and law.
