Front Royal man indicted for attempted murder in Warren Avenue shooting
Phillip Danyell Wilson, 36, was indicted on counts of attempted murder, malicious wounding, use of firearm in a felony, and unlawful possession of a firearm after a previous felony within 10 years. The Nov 1 shooting on Warren Avenue left Timothy Carter with a single gunshot wound and Wilson in custody without bond awaiting March 7 court appearance. Carter recovered after treatment at Inova Fairfax medical center.
