Community unites to build Harrisonburg man a new home
A house fire on East Johnson Street left J P Pringle homeless in a 880 square foot dwelling. Neighbors and organizations including First Baptist Church and Northeast Neighborhood Association launched Team Pringle, aiming to raise 150000 for a mortgage-free new home. By December 23 about 30000 had been pledged, with Go FundMe and church donations solicited as demolition begins to complete the project within a year.
