Long Lost Smith from Muddy Creek Returns after Twenty Years
Daniel A Smith, once missing from East Macias Washington County, Kentucky, reappears with his brother Leary near Waco. Born in Picton Nova Scotia in 1814, he lived as a hermit in a mud hut by Muddy Creek for twelve years, hunting for subsistence and avoiding contact with society. He traveled from the Od Word to distant places and was identified by a test administered through questions answered by a Waco postmaster.
