Smith Bros. secured an agency for Springfield Co's threshing machine sales in Brown and Spink counties. Ezra J Tiffany, a longtime area resident, died last Tuesday night. funeral Thursday. Seeds from D M Ferry & Co. were advertised. Mrs Beebe returned to Columbia. the first thaw occurred earlier in the week. Gopher pest remedies were discussed with a California-tested powder-and-sulphur cartridge method proposed.
The Indiana Chemical Co claims a compound rapidly cures rheumatism and neuralgia within two days for acute cases and offers immediate relief in chronic cases. For 30 cents and two cent stamps they will mail the prescription, usable by any druggist, with a refund if not satisfied. Crawfordsville, Ind.
