Stock Show At Rondel Draws Crowds Despite Fewer Entries
The Rondel stock show last Saturday drew a solid crowd though stock entries were fewer than last year. Exhibited stock was of good quality and local breeders believe South Brown County can rival any region. Premiums were awarded after dinner but names were not available. A baseball game followed between the Mud Creek Pioneers and the Armadale Boys, ended 32 to 18 in favor of the Mud Creek Pioneers, with H. S. Dowell of Watertown umpiring. Warm weather drove visitors to groves and lemonade stands, then a late supper at Humphrey House preceded an evening of dancing in the seci ous hall until midnight.
