Burraxo New York July 11 A 33 year old Philadelphia native known as D Graham attempted the Niagara Whirlpool swim in a seven foot barrel weighing 250 pounds with 240 pounds ballast. He emerged near Lewiston with a slight bruise and said the eddies were a continued round of jerks. He plans to attempt Horseshoe falls. The stunt drew few spectators and was aided by a saloon kept barrel and a towing boat.
