During a severe rain storm last Wednesday night a bolt struck the Titus home near Warner killing Miss Carrie Titus instantly. The tragedy occurred as Carrie sat by her mother's bed with her sister Dora nearby. Mrs Titus and another resident were knocked unconscious. Carrie, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. O. Titus, was buried in Warner cemetery after funeral services at the M E church led by Rev Brown. The community extends heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family.
