Dodge Car Stolen, Found Near Surrey Roadside
The Dodge car stolen from Capt. Gross Saturday night was found early Wednesday near a rural highway northeast of Surrey by Geo Reishus. The vehicle, in good condition apart from about 125 dollars worth of parts stripped, had two worn tires and missing spark plugs and tools. Thieves likely planned to steal the entire car but fled, leaving no trace of a motive. Mr. Gross recovered the machine. Dockttie of Minot arranged return to Minot on Monday.

Colters Lost Patriarch After 65 Years of Marriage
T A Colter's father James Colter died May 20 in his Bath year after a two year illness. Colter, returning from Crystal City Manitoba, notes the family includes a 89 year old widow and nine of eleven children. He was born in Ireland, moved to Montreal, later lived in Crystal City five years and served as Provincial Justice for mounted police. The Colter couple wed 65 years ago. funeral attended by all but a son in Chicago. Four sons and two sons-in-law served as pallbearers.
