Sugar prices hit new low records for the year in New York
New York on October 4 saw new year low records in both raw and refined sugar markets. Raw sugar fell 1/2 cent from last week's close with Teewangar selling at 8 1/2 cents duty-paid, while refined sugar was quoted at 12 1/2 cents per pound by the Federal Sugar Refining Company.
