Prisoner Noah Likes Notoriety Of Imminent Death
Robert Noah Noah, confined in the Bismarck penitentiary awaiting execution for the murder of Kenmare farmer Lewis Johnson, told a Bismarck Tribune reporter he is ready to die and believes he deserves his fate. He cites alcohol as a cause, says no clemency will be sought, and anticipates a calm entrance to the gallows either in Bismarck or Minot. He denounces himself as a moral degenerate and claims the killing followed intoxication and bad influence, though he planned the murder during sober moments.
