Deering Man Drowns While Swimming Near Deering
Chas E Peck of Deering died Saturday afternoon after plunging into Cut Bank creek east of Deering while helping round up calves on the W W Wedge farm. The shock of cold water is blamed for his sudden death amid a recent heart trouble, and he was laid to rest in the cemetery following the tragedy.
