Minot council forms water works chief and library bid
The new Minot city council held its first meeting with full attendance. Ole Knutson was named water works superintendent and confirmed. The fire chief earns 30 dollars monthly. Mayor Clark may seek Carnegie funds for a public library after last election’s large yes vote. The council settled north side access questions and approved cemetery improvements and street grading, with costs charged to property owners by benefit. A marriage in Texas and the city’s dynamic business scene are also noted.
