Ward County Republican delegates urged for Taft support

The Ward County meeting in Minot aims to nominate delegates to the Republican National Convention in Chicago in June. A factional split between McKenzie machine and Progressive Republicans drives calls for independence and anti corporate influence, backing Taft for president and a non McKenzie national committeeman. The notice lists signers urging voters to send delegates to the March 26 Minot convention favoring true Progressive Republicanism and Taft, opposing McKenzieism. Also included are bids for school building moves and liquor tax notices with local names and dates.
