Ryder News reports revived proposal to irrigate much of the Missouri district. Ten years ago the U S Reclamation Service recommended irrigating 59 000 acres on river bottom lands from Sanish to Garrison Creek mouth. Now estimates suggest over 150 000 additional acres could be watered from Muskrat Lake area reservoir south of Van Hook.
