Ladies Press to Retain Minot Hospital Matron Windell

Knights of Columbus Initiation Draws 50 in Minot

Fifty candidates were initiated into the Knights of Columbus in Minot on Sunday completing the ritual by eight pm. Winnipeg team facilitated the work, followed by a church basement banquet and a high school orchestra program. Delegates came from Moosejaw Sask to Devils Lake and Great Falls Mont as the fraternity emphasizes charity and brotherly love. Senator H J Linde aided the normal school appropriation. 8 J La Due returned from a trip through Washington and Philadelphia.

Farmers Invited to Join Minot Commercial Club

The Minot Commercial Club plans a reorganization into eleven departments to cover civic work. Farmers may join as associate members for 2 dollar fees and 50 cent monthly dues, forming an agriculture department. vote on this amendment in two weeks.

Catholic Sisters May Take Minot Hospital in Good Faith

Doctors led by Dr. A. Carr and Judge Palda urged county officials to accept the transfer of Minot’s hospital to the Catholic Sisters if good faith by the Sisters is shown. Carr spoke plainly about serving the people and urged officials to set aside personal motives as discussions continued amid a crowded auditor’s office. A possible agreement awaited the withdrawal of the restraining order as Commissioner Gleinala contributed a timely quip.
