John S. Patterson of Stanley North Dakota a prominent publisher died in a Minot hospital from injuries after a Saturday auto crash near Ross The editor of the Mountrail County Promoter and pilots of the Ross Valley News he also ran newspapers at Stanley and Sanish He was 19 or 20 next August survived by his wife Jeanette McAneney four children his mother and a brother The funeral is set for Ross with services by the Catholic church.

The boy fell from the load during a overturning maneuver and struck his forehead, bleeding from ears and nose. Father rushed him by auto. the child was feared dead but today is out of danger.
