Royal Welcome for Boosters After 160 Mile Get Acquainted Run
Minot boosters endured heavy mud and rain on a 160 mile welcome jog through Velva Ryder Benedict Max and Ryder again celebrating with bands, speeches, and civic hospitality. The group of about seventy five autos and eighty travelers arrived late but in high spirits, aided by local officials, businessmen, and a large Minot press presence. The trip featured dinners, band performances, races for children, and hearty praise for Minot’s booster spirit amid wet roads and generous receptions.
