Mr and Mrs Norman Ellison completed a multi state auto circuit from Minot to Yellowstone Park traveling through Montana. They praised Yellowstone trail roads and noted heavy rains affected Williston to Minot routes. They stayed six days in the park and plan autos to be allowed there in August.

Minot Manufactures Hit Record Output This Year

Minot reports 420000 pounds of butter valued at 117600 and 300000 barrels of flour worth 3157500 produced in the city during the fiscal year ending June 20. Additional products valued at 116200 bring total manufacturing to 1807600 dollars.

Forks Girl Narrow Escape From Eastland Disaster

Grand Forks July 28 Alice Keese daughter of Mrs Frances Keese of this city avoided the Eastland sailing by choosing a later Chicago steamer. Mins Keese had planned to sail on the ill fated vessel from Chicago to South Haven and notified her mother. She sent a telegram after the disaster stating she was safe.

Enmare Couple Eloped in Stormy Pre Nuptial Voyage

Archie Toole aged 19 and Ruby Harkavas aged 16 from Kenmare eloped and wed in a ceremony performed by Judge Wm. Murray in this city Monday afternoon after a stormy engagement.

Youth Elopes to Kenmare Brideville in Minot

Archie, a hardworking youth, elopes with the daughter of prominent farmer William Harkness of Kenmare. Police locate them after a chase along the Great Northern to Williston. Judge Palda appointed guardian as the couple, underage, begins married life with consent from the Harkness family.

Burlington Man Wins Six Ribbons At State Fair

Chester Phifer of Burlington exhibited a dozen registered Duroc Jersey hogs at Grand Forks and earned six premiums. He placed first with a boar pig under six months and earned multiple awards in senior yearling sow junior boar and aged sow categories. The event featured about 500 hogs with strong Duroc showings and a two mile parade of cattle and horses.

La Follette and Loftus to Speak on Open Market Debate

Sen La Follette of Wisconsin and George S Loftus equity advocate from St Paul will address Minot on August 15. Circus Employee Arrested at Sawyer in Train Fight

Sheriff Nedreloe and Deputy Van denoover arrested Frank Clark of the Iishman circus at Sawyer on charges he seated another worker with a gas pipe. Two workers claim wages were unpaid. The men boarded the circus train. Clark and a Black worker allegedly beat one man, who fled between Drake and Velva, while the other was struck and thrown from the moving train. He reached Velva for medical aid.
