Henry W. Klein, newly managing Minot Drug Co., has long served the Minot community after arriving from Iowa five years ago. Under his leadership the store has added mahogany fixtures and a Twentieth Century soda fountain, with a prominent in-store prescription room and a staff of eight, including two registered pharmacists. He holds seven diplomas from as many states and has twenty two years in the business.

Fatal crossing accident ends life of Herbert Nimms
Herbert Nimms a 24 year old resident fatally injured at the Soo crossing near the Electric Light plant on Saturday evening about 6 20. A Soo freight car was being moved and Nimms trying to cross was crushed when the engine followed. a brakeman urged him to jump back but he was too slow. Nimms died at the hospital next morning and his remains were sent to Maquoketa Iowa. Nimms an Odd Fellow and cousin to Neil and Charlie Robbine. He recently moved to North Dakota from Maquoketa.

Albert Kittilson Dies After Short Illness
Albert Kittilson died at his daughter Mrs Martin Jacobson’s home in this city Monday at 10 o clock after a short illness. He had paralysis and advanced age gave little hope for recovery. The funeral was from the Jacobsen home Tuesday and burial followed in Rose Hill cemetery. He leaves four children Mrs Martin Jacobson, Mrs D R Jacobson, a son at Des Lacs and one in Iowa. He had lived in North Dakota many years and once homesteaded near Des Lacs. He was eighty years old.

Peterson Roseland, a land man, was badly hurt when his team ran away fifteen miles from Ryder to Rice Lake. A companion struck Roseland, injuring his back and leg as the pole collapsed. He was treated in a shack and later moved toward Minot, with recovery expected to take weeks.
