Jap Attacks Foreman in Palermo Section Strike
Chas Barquist, section foreman at Palermo, was attacked Monday by Fukuzo Matsuda, a young Japanese worker, with a railroad bar in an attempt to kill him. Matsuda admitted guilt and was bound over to district court after magistrate J. C. Hoff. Barquist injured, defending himself with a board as a pick flew at him.
