Six passenger Hupmobile driven by Gould Warren, 16, rolled over twice and plunged 25 feet into Mouse River injuring his brothers Dwayne 2 and Manly 5. The baby suffered a concussion and a facial cut. Ward County Boys Second in Stock Judging Contest
Walter Edwards Raymond Leger and Peter Linnertz of Ward County Better Farming Club for boys earned second place in the stock judging contest at the state fair in Fargo. W A Peck, in charge of Better Farming work, led them. Barnes County won first and Eddy County third. The Ward team received cash prizes and valuable experience from their winter preliminary training in Minot. Peck oversees nearly a hundred county youths in wheat corn and blooded hog projects.

Nesheim Dies After Wagon Fall Near Granville
Ole Nesheim, about 40, a pharmacist, was killed Monday night when a horse fell on a steep grade near the Fred Ehr farm northwest of the city. He died minutes after the accident from head injuries and internal damage. Survived by a wife and child, his mother ill with diphtheria, a brother in Granville, and three sisters. Funeral held Wednesday. body sent to Granville.

Sawyer Woman Drowns In Water Tank Near Sawyer
Mrs Martha Nenninger aged 25 wife of farmer Wm Nenninger five miles north of Sawyer drowned Tuesday noon in a small water tank only two feet deep. She suffered an epileptic fit while fetching water and fell with her face submerged. Eight-year-old daughter Ellen Norton witnessed the accident and alerted her father who found her dead. Dr Darland failed to revive her. Coroner Orson Doe deemed no inquest necessary. She leaves husband a one-year-old babe a previous marriage’s eight-year-old daughter and three sisters and two brothers. Funeral held at Sawyer Wednesday.
