Deplorable Accident Near Kenmare Claims Two Children
An eastbound passenger train struck two Vadnais children near Kenmare two miles east of town on Sunday after noon. Louis aged six lost a leg and a sister four lost an arm and part of a foot. The boy died at St John’s hospital in Kenmare that night. the girl lay critically injured. Engineer Wilson collapsed and was treated after the crash.
