Baby Drowns in Slough Near Kenmare
Roma Hanson, 17 months old, son of Mr and Mrs Albert Hanson, six miles from Kenmare North Dakota, wandered behind a barn where manure filled a slough. He fell into the shallow pool with about a foot of water and drowned before his parents could intervene.

Rowland Guilty of Murder in North Dakota Case
Williston North Dakota July 10 Teha Rowland a Mountrail county farmer was found guilty of murder in the second degree by a district court jury Saturday night. The panel fixed the penalty at twenty years in the state penitentiary. The verdict came after a clash between the Rowland and Walcott families over a long standing feud. Rowland and a companion were returning home with a load of hay when the elder Walcott opened fire with a bone bullet striking the young man and killing him.

Robinson Elevator on Wheels Moves to New Site
