Warrant Issued for Arrest of Editor M Gahan
A warrant was issued by Justice John Lynch for the arrest of L D McGahan on criminal libel charges related to a January 16 Democrat editorial. Frost to Draw Plans for New Minot School Building
At a Schvarnet meeting local architect R. T. Brot was chosen to furnish plans and specifications for a $35,000 Minot Special School District facility on a site near the G N depot. The fireproof eight-room building will feature back-entry design, modern plumbing, electric lights, pneumatic clocks, and a basement housing domestic science, manual training, baths, and a large assembly room. Plans to be completed in three weeks before contractors are chosen.

About 95 students and all faculty attended a informal reception for new students at the Armory last Saturday. Highlights included a guesting contest with silhouettes, class stunts, a rural two act farce, a wedding march entrance for the Freshmen, and special numbers by the Specials and Seniors. Refreshments were served by teachers and student officers.
