The Second National Bank held its annual meeting Tuesday with no officer changes except Henry E. Byrum elected assistant cashier. Directors voted to raise surplus to ten thousand dollars and declared a ten percent dividend. Net earnings for the year stood at twenty seven percent on a fifty thousand capital. The Minot National Bank also elected officers J A Erickson as president and O Erickson as cashier, with a strong slate of directors. The bank remains in excellent condition with a handsome dividend and a surplus of fifteen hundred dollars.
