Prisoners Escape From Ward County Jail
Three inmates Thomas Coleman Frank Howard and Sam Pompelli escaped the Ward county jail early Monday by opening a cage door breaking through a brick wall and lowering themselves to the ground with blankets. A jail delivery planned for weeks involved a key theft and concealment in soap. Sheriff Lee offered a 200 reward and deputies scoured the region with a description sent northwest seeking capture or detainment.

The North Dakota State Racing Association opens the season with a three day meet in Minot on June 14 15 and 16 marking the county s first race meeting. Action Against Dr Hyndman Dismissed
Dr Hyndman’s hearing before Judge Murray was dismissed for lack of sufficient evidence.
