Town Meeting Adopts School Site Move And Seal Plan
The adjourned April town meeting at the town hall heard a report on the Point Shirley site for a new school. The committee proposed purchasing Lot 41 for 400, moving the building at 100 cost, and paying 50 for moving. a 600 loan was authorized to buy the land and relocate. A town seal was also approved to be prepared by the selectmen and town clerk for future adoption.
