Fire at old Sales house caused $800 loss, no insurance. A union church song service Sunday 7 30 pm invites the public. Fourth of July Festivities Draw Large Crowd for Beachmont
Morning races drew a large crowd while afternoon children's entertainment pleased both youngsters and older attendees. Over three hundred ice cream plates and cake kept spirits high. Beachmont beat Crescent Beach Club 25 to 21 in a 2.30 baseball game umpired by C. G. Campbell. Highland band performances and grand fireworks capped the event, with praise for many committees for smooth planning and an aim for an even better next year.
