John Parks shot Jeans Left Lung Chas on Illinois avenue about 10:30 p m in an apparent feud over an allotment scheme. Jeans was wounded in the hand and left lung area after a quarrel near the McClellan building. Parks fled after the incident. sheriffs and posses combed the area all night.
