The city council met in a special session at 10 am to award vitrified brick paving for alleys in blocks 48 and surrounding areas. Bids for oil macadam on North Roper and West Sequoyah were above estimate and awarded. Sewer bids for blocks 53 and 178 will be readvertised after missed opening on November 3.
