Guthrie Oklahoma November 3 early returns show a shrinking Bryan margin in the state with northern Republican counties reporting. In 1907 Governor Haskell carried by just under 28 000 votes and Bright sunshine across much of the day favored Republicans in the latest indications.

Oklahoma voting patterns show McGuire leading in Payne county with about 250 margin in 1907 and a statewide Democratic lean, while Republican Richard Morgan appears favored in Segend district. Vinita Man Louis Clinkscales Ends His Life

Louis Clinkscales 25 a respected Vinita resident shot himself in a despondent moment over failing health. A Columbia Law School graduate and rising local attorney, he had been secretary of the Craig county democratic committee and was loved by many. He leaves a father, stepmother, two brothers, and numerous friends. funeral plans incomplete.

Resignation Planned for Commissioner Smock in Guthrie

Guthrie Oklahoma November reports Commissioner Herbert Smock will resign around December or January first to become vice president of an Oklahoma home banking trust company. MOTHER AND SON FOUND DEAD IN HOTEL ROOM

Mrs Vert and her son J Nelson, Wall Street broker, were found dead in an upper Broadway hotel. The mother was shot in the head and the son died by gas in the bathroom. Authorities regard it as likely a joint suicide following the mother's death.
