Severe weather struck Key West and Depew Oklahoma leaving about ten people homeless and forty homes wrecked or blown away in Depew. The storm damaged structures from Key West to Weleetka with scattered wreckage and injuries reported including Mrs. Hart and Alta Grace. A tornado also hit Ashinad area causing multiple home demolitions and fire.

A Santa Fe passenger train 9 westbound was wrecked at Peabody after a freight derailment on the eastbound track. Postal clerk H. C. Fight in Senate Ends in Brawl Between Senators
In Springfeld the senate chamber erupted in a near riot as Senator James A. Henin of Decatin and Senator Sheridan of Lincoln fought. Blood drenched Henin as a ring of senators restrained the combatants. Door locks kept others in as Monson attempted to leave.
