Officers Find Woman in Destitute Circumstances
Federal investigators found Mrs May Lumpkin and her two children in distress at their Lampkin home near Bull Creek Bridge. The subpoena to appear in Bartlesville court was unpaid due to lack of funds for travel. Officers arranged fare from witness fees, but a friend provided money and she proceeded to Bartlesville.
