The Vinita city council approved a petition to form an improvement district for paving Illinois avenue and Wilson street, extending from Vann to Thompson and across the Fasco right of way to Sequoyah. The ordinance, signed by Mayor Shanahan, also covers curbing guttering and sidewalks, giving four blocks on Wilson and three on Illinois, plus a block on Canadian.
