Attorney General vows to continue fight over Oklahoma gas

Attorney General Charles J West says no official notice yet that the United States court in the eastern district of Oklahoma has decided the case on piping gas out of the state for pipeline companies If the demurrer is overruled he will file an answer and pursue the matter to final determination in federal courts and appeal to the US Supreme Court The fight began in 1906 at the constitutional convention over a provision banning gas piping abroad and a clause requiring public service corporations to obtain domestic charters The Prairie Oil and Gas Co sought a pipeline from Shallow Sanpoo Newsta County to Caney Kansas and a temporary injunction was secured in Logan County The case was later dismissed by the state supreme court for lack of jurisdiction

Runaway Buggy Injures Family Near Station
Hob Harrisons buggy with his wife and two children ran away after a horse became frightened by an automobile near Illinois avenue and Wilson street.
