The large congregation wept as he admitted church opportunities were not fully seized and urged members to embody Christ’s spirit in service to the community. Three Trainmen Die In Midwest Train Collision
The Red Hammer passenger train from Chicago to Kansas City collided with a freight at Farber Missouri. Three trainmen were killed: B Davis, M J Crabtree, and H M Plo. No passengers were hurt. Officials state the freight car failed to clear the crossing.
