Guthrie Oklahoma Dec 26 chairman D O Cassidy says chairman Thompson will issue a call for a central committee meeting within days. The meeting aims to select a site and date for a state convention to choose delegates to the national convention.
Guthrie Oklahoma December 26 statement argues it is contrary to public policy for a county attorney to defend anyone. It cites no Oklahoma statute directly prohibiting defense and references an attorney general West opinion responding to a county attorney’s inquiry.

Reece Cravens, recently struck on the head with a bar of iron by Charles Parks, died yesterday of pneumonia per a coroner’s inquest held at Lewis' Undertaking Parlors. The jury met at two o'clock with Squire Foster presiding in Coroner Adams’ absence. Jurors included D. M. Maers, T. M. Buttington, J. H. Parker, B. M. Lewis, M. O. Maddox, and S. H. Bland.

He expects cash availability next week as the first installment of Oklahoma's 8500000 fund, with a draft by Assistant Secretary of State Moyer and a law copy sent to the U S Treasurer.
