Charred remains of a young woman discovered on a mountain between here and Eberville. Under the body lay three barrel hoops. Believed murdered and placed in a kerosene soaked barrel before burning. Identity not yet established.
Stockholm December 17 King Oscar's condition shows ongoing improvement. Twenty-one prisoners were returned from Sallisaw yesterday by Deputy Marshal Rhodes. Of these, eight have been sentenced to the penitentiary. Twenty-one prisoners remain for trial this week.
Pittsburg Pa Dec 17 An information filed against cashier J B J Reinehart of Farmers and Drovers National Bank accuses him of discrepancies totaling 050,000. Rev George Fulcher of Pennsylvania preached to Presbyterian church attendees yesterday morning and evening. He will preach again next Sunday.
