In Muskogee Oklahoma on December 6 a field near Haskell yielded a rusty tin can containing negotiable notes and securities totaling $19,000 from the Taft bank robbery last summer. The find was reported by Mrs. Moore while examining her late husband N. B. Moore’s papers. The can held old bank records, some water damaged, but the notes were legible. The Taft bank was robbed when the safe was blown and $400 in silver taken. securities had not been disclosed at the time.
