Oklahoma City August 4 A conference of Confederate veterans chose Ardmore as the site for the state home for ex Confederates after three ballots. Ardmore offered a forty acre tract valued at 9750 cash plus free heat light and power for five years, with other towns rivaling in land and money offers. Building plans will be set by a committee, with construction planned to start around October 1.
