Undentified Body Buried at City Cemetery North
The unidentified man killed in Frisco yards last Wednesday morning is buried in the City Cemetery north of town. Undertaker Lews Rogers failed to trace the dead man and initially waited for the railroad company to cover burial costs. The company offered 220 dollars with a demand for sending the man’s gold watch and clothing. Rogers refused, the city defrayed expenses, and the body was laid to rest. Rogers had photos taken for identification in case relatives claim the remains.
