Celebrated 83rd Birthday of Grandfather Winner

The Righty third birthday anniversary of Grandfather Winner was celebrated last evening at the home of Mrs. Chas. Basey. Evidence May Save Men Accused of Lynching

Guthrie July 3 Deputy Marshal Jacobson returned from Osage with Shorty Green and Mike White two railroad men held by Commissioner Mellett at Pawhuska on a murder charge. They were placed in federal jail and faces difficulty securing testimony. The hearing produced few witnesses mostly women and children as John Leahy defended the alleged lynchers. Frank Sisk was released and two others remained held on the murder charge. The prosecution says Green and White led the mob that lynched Frank Bailey. Frank Kelley Katy brakeman shot by Bailey is recovering.
